Service Engineer
You will be working at SDLG (Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.), a major international player in the construction equipment industry. Founded in 1972, SDLG partnered with Volvo from 2006 until becoming fully independent in September 2025. The company supplies excavators, wheel loaders, and road construction equipment worldwide. For the European market, you will be based at the company's warehouse in Harderwijk, the Netherlands. The working environment is international, down-to-earth, and results-driven. What you will do
As a Service Engineer, you will be the technical point of contact for dealers and customers. You will troubleshoot complex technical issues, support dealer technicians, and ensure they stay up to date with training, service bulletins, and product knowledge. You will also provide support in the use of diagnostic tools, contribute ideas for technical improvements, and actively participate in product development by sharing feedback from the field. In addition, you will play an important role in parts management and warranty handling.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a versatile technical professional who is customer-focused and comfortable working in an international environment. You are analytically strong, enjoy working as part of a team, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. In addition, you bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction, industrial, or agricultural machinery sector;
- Experience with electrical and hydraulic schematics and engine technology;
- The ability to read and understand technical manuals and parts catalogues;
- Strong communication skills, a structured way of working, and a team-oriented mindset;
- An independent, solution-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality.
